Upcoming Events

September 7 - Chapter Work Day, Saturday from 8:30am to 11:30am. Meet at the Fish Hatchery Pavilion for an overview of the project area. The goal is to open an area near the hatchery for better angler access by removing brush and smaller trees, trimming trees, and treating stumps and weeds. Depending on turnout, we may tackle another site close-by. Volunteers are asked to bring gloves, water, sunscreen, bug spray, tools for pruning trees, and appropriate personal protective equipment. The chapter has trash bags, a few tools and gloves. Any questions, contact Theresa Shay at tashay1966@gmail.com or 563-379-6103.

September 7 - Meet and greet Pot-luck from noon to 3pm at the Fish Hatchery Pavilion. Please bring a dish to share (prepare for 8 people), your own tableware, and drinks. Coffee and water will be provided. In light of the recent loss of Gary Arner, Chapter Fundraiser and Habitat Chair, we will also hold a Celebration of Life following our meal. Any questions, contact Theresa Shay at tashay1966@gmail.com or 563-379-6103.
