Notice of Protocol Concerning
Trout Stream Habitat Improvement Projects
for the
Iowa Driftless Chapter of Trout Unlimited
At the 2-07-08 meeting of Trout Unlimited’s Iowa Driftless Chapter, it was decided by general
consensus that approximately once per year any Trout Stream Habitat Improvement Project
potentially involving Iowa Driftless Chapter funding will be scheduled for open discussion on a regular chapter
meeting date and voted upon by the group after due consideration. Chapter members must be present at
said meetings to vote. Any meetings involving Stream Improvement Projects generally will
be held early in the calendar year so that, if necessary, support events such as Chapter
Work Days can be appropriately scheduled for summer. Notice of such meetings will
be posted on the Chapter’s website, www.iadriftless.org, in a timely fashion. Please check the website for meeting schedules and meeting itineraries. If any member wishes to vote on a
measure but cannot be present at the appropriate meeting, please contact any Chapter Officer to vote in absentia.
